Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 113 active cannabinoids identified in the cannabis plant. CBD is completely non-psychoactive.

  • Antispasmodic – is a pharmaceutical drug or other agent that suppresses muscle spasms.
  • Anxiolytic – is a medication or other intervention that inhibits anxiety.
  • Bone-stimulant – are essentially tools that aid in healing and recovery of the bones in the body.
  • Intestinal Anti-prokinetic – a gastroprokinetic agent, gastrokinetic, or prokinetic, is a type of drug which enhances gastrointestinal motility.
  • Neuroprotective – serves to protect nerve cells against damage, degeneration, or impairment of function.
  • Vasorelaxant – reduces tension of the blood vessel walls.


Cannabidivarin is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in Cannabis. It is a homolog of cannabidiol, with the side-chain shortened by two methylene bridges.

Cannabichromene (CBC) is a cannabinoid found in the Cannabis plant and is also described as a phytocannabinoid. CBC can activate cannabinoid receptors, by enhancing the receptor activity of naturally occurring cannabinoids.
