Calyx Wellness Centre CBD Spray Review

I went to Toronto at the end of last month for my birthday and got the chance to meet the owner of Calyx Wellness Centre in Toronto. I had the opportunity to get their CALM 600 mg CBD Spray. As you may know I enjoy the different ways that we can consume CBD. This was a real joy to try.

So, my focus on this review is more on helping anxiety and energy levels at work. I used the CBD spray for about 10 days so that I had a good reference point.

My Calyx Wellness Centre CBD Spray Review

So, this spray is called “Calm”. It is geared towards anxiety, social anxiety and addiction (cigarettes, alcohol or drugs). This product is intended for on-the-go use as it relaxes the mind and balances emotions to bring a sense of peace to the body and mind.

The CBD spray works differently than CBD Tinctures. You just spray into your mouth and swallow. Every morning I sprayed it right onto my tongue and then I swallowed.

How does it taste?

The taste is minty. It’s a mix between tasting mint and oil. The mint helps cover up the oily taste about 80%. After swallowing I start to feel tingling on my tongue. This is from the peppermint extract that is used as one of the ingredients.

After a few more minutes I can really taste the minty and the oil. I just made sure that I had either water or my ginger tea handy to help remove some of the taste left in my mouth.

Even though the taste may not be for everyone it is better than some other CBD Tinctures that I’ve tried in the past. This is one thing I am truly looking forward to in the future. As we as a community continue to push the envelope in bringing out ways to take CBD I believe that more and more products will start tasting better. But like the saying goes what’s good for you is not always the best tasting.

There is only 0.2 ml in each spray which comes out to approximately 3.3 mg of CBD. I used 3 sprays each morning so that I can get around 10 mg of CBD. This is average on what I am used to taking every day. You may need more or less CBD depending on your body.

Overall, I find that it has helped my anxiety issues and there were a few stressful days at work where I ended up using a few more sprays in the afternoon to help keep me focus. I also love the added benefits of the peppermint and grape seed oil. It is a brilliant combination in my opinion. For the price of $89 which might be expensive for some but when you think about how many mg of CBD that you receive the price is worth it. At 3.3 mg of CBD per spray and over 175 sprays in the bottle you should be able to make it last for at least 2 months.
