Does CBD give you energy? The answer, is yes! I tested this out last week when I helped my sister move. On an average day I take CBD to help me deal with anxiety and to give me a boost of energy at work. I know it helps me, but I wanted to document how it helps me on an extraneous day.
Last week Saturday around 11am, I woke up exhausted from working overtime all week. I just wanted to stay in bed and rest all weekend, but I knew I couldn’t because I had to help my sister move. This is something that I know many of you can relate to. Sometimes we just want to rest after a long week.
Those of you with young children know, that sometimes in the middle of the night your child may tend to climb into bed and sleep with you. My son does that sometimes and when I wake, I have back pain and shoulder pain. So I had low energy and was in pain. To combat those issues I packed Hemp Bombs 1 oz., CBD Pain Rub (50 mg of CBD per container), my trusty Saionara Pico Kit and Phytodabs Full Spectrum Slab of Grape Ape.
Using CBD to Boost My Energy Levels
Before we left to get a U-Haul truck I used the Saionara to vape the Grape Ape. I also used the Hemp Bombs CBD Pain Rub on my lower back, wrist and shoulder blades. I was geared up for the task ahead.
The first 30mins of the move, was tiresome, walking up and down stairs while it rained. After the initial 30 minutes I began to feel better and I got really motivated to get the work done. According to Google Fit on my phone, I did 1 hour and 40 minutes of walking. Which is alot for me on an average day.
At the end of the day I didn’t feel exhausted from the strenuous work. I ended up vaping twice that day, which was enough to help me. While I didn’t calculate how much CBD I took I estimate it might have been about 20 mg total. Based on the size of the pieces I broke off from the slab. As for the Hemp Bombs Pain Rub I used it 3 times that day, rubbing it into my shoulder joints, back and wrists for a good 5 minutes.
How CBD can help your Energy Levels?
There are many ways for your body to have reduced energy. Anxiety, stress and general fatigue are the most common. Anxiety is an emotional feeling that we experience. It can show its ugly face when we are under intense stress like a funeral, work projects or just regular day to day activities. Stress is the feeling of strain and pressure placed on our bodies. It is also an emotional feeling. Stress and anxiety can lead to body fatigue if not addressed.
Reading most of my reviews you would know that I use CBD a lot for my anxiety. Reading most of my reviews you would know that I use CBD a lot for my anxiety. CBD oil helps me reduce anxiety to managable levels. Because it is natural, CBD has shown not to harm internal organs compared to other pharmaceutical drugs. CBD has been shown to protect our body.
CBD and antioxidants
Antioxidants are chemicals that interact with and neutralize free radicals. A free radical is a type of unstable molecule that is made during normal cell metabolism. Free radicals can build up in your cells and cause damage to other cellular molecules. Antioxidants prevents free radicals from causing damage. Antioxidants are also known as “free radical scavengers.”
CBD is a very powerful antioxidant. It is more powerful than vitamin C and vitamin E. In fact, the United States Government Patent 1999/008769 is specifically for the neuroprotectant and antioxidant properties of cannabinoids.
By taking CBD, you are helping your body heal which in turn helps your body’s energy levels. It reduces your fatigue.
Hopefully CBD can help boost your energy levels. Give it a try. It is natural, effective and great for your body.
